In partnership with the National Museum of Singapore, the Singapore JewelFest is celebrating the Singapore Golden Jubilee featuring 6 leading Singaporean designers and jewellery houses depicting the flora and fauna of the early 19th century creating pieces priced at $15,000 and above.

Honoured to be one of the chosen designer, Simone has the Black-capped Kingfisher as her motif. Referred to as a professed history buff who often weave architectural and cultural themes into her work, the reasons to choose the Black-capped Kingfisher are that it symbolises harmony, care and concern shared between Singaporeans. The Peridot stone has been chosen as the centre attraction because it is the birthstone of August (Singapore national day falls on 9 August) and it is known to represent prosperity, happiness and the greenery of the Garden City.
