The collection draws inspiration from the legend of Queen Sheba, one of the few female rulers recorded in ancient history. Remembered for the prosperity of her kingdom and her celebrated journey to meet King Solomon, she remains a fascinating figure not because of grandeur alone, but because of how she carried herself. She arrived not as a spectacle, but as an equal - prepared, observant, and assured in her own wisdom.

Rather than retelling history, JEWELS OF THE NILE reimagines this spirit through contemporary High Jewellery. At the heart of the collection is Simone Jewels' signature woven gold mesh - an intricate construction that moves with the fluidity of fabric while retaining remarkable strength. Inspired by the idea of a protective veil, the mesh reflects a woman who chooses what she reveals and what she keeps for herself, moving through the world with both softness and discernment.
Creating the woven mesh is a feat of craftsmanship in itself. Every link is individually handcrafted and soldered before being assembled into a fluid, fabric-like structure. The result is jewellery that feels light and graceful, yet resilient in construction - mirroring the balance of strength and elegance that defines the collection.
