Teaming up with Jason Pomeroy for Simone Jewels’ collaborative collection, The Jewels of Architecture, showcased a different type of architectural wonder.
Despite many years of acquaintance and in talks of creating a collection together, Simone’s choice of using the British history as an inspiration for her collection pushed the idea to materialise.
Drawing inspiration from the architectures that matters to Jason, his British heritage and architectural background aids in the selection. Naming the 1) Pomeroy castle- his family’s castle; 2) Cambridge University- where he studied; 3) Queen’s House- representation of the Renaissance era; 4) St Paul’s Cathedral- where he was inspired to be an architect; 5) Houses of Parliament- where he used to pass daily before and after work; 6)Gerkhin- view from his bedroom.
The collaboration was deemed as an interesting one as it was a colourful clash of designing background and styles giving the best of both worlds.
