All our pieces are crafted in either 18K or 9K solid gold. 

18K is widely known to require almost no special care and will never tarnish over time. It is composed of 75% pure gold and 25% metal alloys to strengthen the gold. 

Our 9K gold consists of 37.5% gold and 62.5% metal alloys, offering robustness akin to 18K gold. We offer White, Yellow, and Black gold selections, while 9K Rose gold resists tarnishing as it demands a little bit more care due to the copper content that imparts its captivating pink hue. At Simone Jewels, we uphold a commitment to superior quality and craftsmanship, which is why we reserve Rose gold options for 18K exclusively.

As gemstones and precious metals are natural materials, do not let them come into contact with strong chemicals, including perfume, scents, creams, soaps, lotions and chlorine. If absolutely necessary, any perfume or scents should be applied and left to fully dry before the jewellery is worn. Otherwise, they should ideally be applied onto an area where jewellery will not come into contact with the skin.

We do encourage all prongs to be checked every 6 months to 1 year by Simone Jewels or a reputable jeweller.

If your jewellery comes into contact with dirt or any chemicals such as the ones listed above, gently wipe with a soft cloth or rinse under warm water. However, Pearl jewellery should not be immersed in water for too long so it is advisable to wipe pearls with a damp cloth and leave it to try before keeping them. This also applies to Mother of Pearl. As much as possible, try to avoid washing or rinsing your Pearl and Mother of Pearl jewellery as this may gradually wear out the special adhesive that helps to hold them down. We generally do not encourage ultrasonic cleaners to be used.
