As part of our 2023 High Jewellery collection - TATTOO, Simone Jewels has collaborated with Japanese-American artist Tomoyuki Iwanami on a six-piece collaboration collection, Simone x Tomo, based on the Japanese art of ink painting, or Sumi-e.

The gender-neutral Simone x Tomo collaboration collection comprises rings, earrings, and a bracelet, expertly fashioned as ink splash motifs. The monochromatic black and white pieces are crafted from various materials, including 18K gold, diamonds, and natural black spinel.

inspired to merge these originalities to create a beautiful and meaningful collaboration collection.”

A meeting with Tomoyuki in New York discovered that both of them shared a passion for gems and storytelling, as well as a penchant for blending Eastern and Western themes and elements in their work.

The collection is rooted in Simone’s belief that the jewellery we choose to wear often has an emotional connotation and is an artistic expression of our individuality.
